Verano Will Participate in AVC’s Annual Veteran’s Conference and Their Premier Annual Ceremony, American Valor: We Stand Together
GOODYEAR, AZ — Today Verano Learning Partners (VLP) announced its partnership with the American Veterans Center (AVC), a premier national non-profit that honors the sacrifice of America’s veterans through educational programs and civic events, to support AVC’s Annual Veterans Conference along with its premier annual event, American Valor, premiering Veterans Day Weekend. The event will feature military heroes from World War II to the present day who will be honored by a whole host of celebrity presenters, which includes Tom Brokaw, John Cena, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, Diane Lane, Clint Eastwood, and Megyn Kelly to name a few.
“Verano Learning Partners is proud to support and partner with the American Veterans Center for its Annual Veterans Conference along with its premier annual event, American Valor: We Stand Together,” said Damian Creamer, a former Marine and founder of Verano Learning Partners. “We share AVC’s mission to guard the legacy and honor the sacrifice of America’s veterans and it is an honor to support their efforts to pass on the rich history and important life lessons of our veterans to the next generation. Verano is developing a collaborative network of schools and partners that will prepare the next generation — from both military and civilian families – to take on the challenges of today.”
Due to COVID-19, the Annual Veterans Conference will take place virtually over a livestream on Wednesdays starting on October 28 and will feature panel discussions between current military leaders and influencers — such as General Mark Milley, Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Air Force Chief of Staff Charles Brown — and World War II heroes, such as the Tuskegee Airmen, the Heroes of D-Day, and the ‘Six-Triple-Eight’ among many others. These panels will be open to everyone but held specifically for students from military service academies and ROTC programs from across the country. American Valor, AVC’s annual honors program, will premier Veterans Day weekend on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX affiliates nation-wide.
Verano Learning Partners’ mission is to develop, manage and deliver a high quality, rigorous educational experience in a learning environment that creates a sustainable, positive impact on a student’s life. Through their programming, Verano equips students to be both successful contributors to society, as well as preparing them to be career, college and life-ready. The Bridge School, Verano’s premier online international school, has become the military and State Department’s school of choice for mobile and deployed families around the world.
